Our SPECTER sparring safe longsword features a long slender blade that features twin fullers. This sword is slightly slimmer than our Sentinel blade and features a micro schilt to help protect your knuckles, however it's not as protective as our standard feder schilts. The blade is forgiving in the thrust and is intended to be used in normal HEMA training and competition. This sword has a narrowing profile taper that ends in our rev. 2 flattened spatulate tip. The edges are smoothly rounded for durability. The crossguard is exceptionally tough having been hardened and double tempered just as the blade. The grip is comfortably waisted and tightly wrapped in cord that is sealed with resin hardener. It provides a slightly aggresive texture to the cord and feels great in and out of gloves. Choose your pommel style, crossguard style, handle color, handle length, and hilt finish.
